MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of Preston-Royal Preschool to provide a secure and nurturing environment in which your child is seen as an individual with unique abilities and needs. We offer a variety of hands-on activities to challenge and stimulate your child’s intellectual, social, physical and emotional development.

The goal of the Preston Royal Preschool is to provide an atmosphere in which your child can experience independence appropriate to his/her age, develop social skills, and form a positive self image. We want your child to be able to experiment and create, to feel comfortable with and curious about his/her environment, to develop language skills and to understand concepts of all kinds.

Our students learn from hands on experiences. Each day, they spend time inside and outside; in quiet and active pursuits; working alone and as part of a group; participating in teacher-directed and student-directed activities. Enrichment specialists provide our four and five year olds with indvidual, one-on-one tutoring in kindergarten readiness.

Preston-Royal Preschool is open to children and staff regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Preston-Royal, a program of Central Congregational Church, is a nonprofit preschool. The curriculum is nondenominational.
